Nikki is unsure what to believe. Other people are mixed up in her mind. Patty comes in and tells Nikki while in her coma she overheard conversations and voices that she mixed up. Although she is physically fine it’ll take her time to adjust to what’s real. Sharon comes in stating she will take care of Nikki during her recovery after Victor volunteers a sabbatical. Nikki asks if Katherine and Neil are really gone like in her dream; he tells her yes. He also tells her that when Katherine died she made Nikki Chairperson of the Board at Chancellor Industries, Philip III as CEO, Chance as President, and Mac as Vice-President; she also split her $2.4 billion net worth equally between Nikki, Brock, Philip III, Nina, Chance, Mac, and The Katherine Chancellor Foundation with Nikki as the CEO/President. She cries that she missed their funerals, but Victor takes her to Chancellor Park then Neil’s grave. Nikki and Dru talk before Dru leaves. Nick tells Victor he will take care of Newman while he helps Nikki; Victoria gets mad feeling Nick is being sexist.

Adam tells the crew to cover Nikki’s awakening. Cassie & Chance go on-site. She gets the exclusive interview with Nikki. Victor blasts her for using her family to further her career. Nikki tells Victor it’s okay she is glad to help Cassie any way she can. Victor pulls Cassie aside and tells her never to do that again. Cassie blasts Victor for using his own connections to cover up Natalie Kelser’s true identity. He tells her he’s Natalie’s godfather. She tells him she knows he’s pushing her to become a model to further his stock at Models Inc. Before they can argue further Adam punches Victor. Matt & Casey pull Adam back, but Adam tells everyone he’s away Victor seduced Casey right before he was conceived...he could be Victor’s son.

Dru deals with the death of Neil. She replays memories with him and their last fight. Dru talks to Olivia, who has her own memories with Neil. The sisters visit with Malcolm in LA as all three commensurate together; Malcolm again apologizes for what he did to Dru all those years ago. She tells him she’s glad Lily ended up being Neil’s; Malcolm states he was still an adoptive father to Nate Jr & Tessa. Olivia talks about her getting over Nate Sr. Malcolm states he will move back, but Dru tells him no. Dru and Olivia come back to Genoa City and spends time with Lily and Devon. She moves in with Lily and Daniel becoming a pain in their marriage. Dru finally moves back to her home and deals with cleaning out Neil’s closet. Devon blows up that he wanted some of Neil’s things. He apologizes but takes all of Neil’s watches and Neil’s wedding band; Lily takes a pair of cufflinks of Neil’s. Dru dives into work.

Sharon and Nick go to couples retreat with Sarge and Olivia, Paul and Christine, and Lance and Patty. Patty reveals in therapy she was sexually assaulted by her father’s best friend’s son when she was a teen which is why she’s always had emotional problems. She refuses to name her attacker, but when Anthony Curtis runs for Senator of Wisconsin she tells Lance “that’s him.”

Chloe tries using Delia into her obsession with Billy. Vicky talks to Chelsea about keeping Chloe away. Chelsea tries telling Chloe to stay out of Billy and Victoria’s marriage. Chloe states “if you didn’t sleep with Billy while I was with him I never would’ve broken up with him. You gave him full custody of your son, but I am going to get him back with our daughter.” Chelsea tells Chloe to stop, but Chloe tells Chelsea she will never stop trying to get her family back together. Cane tells Chelsea to butt out, but Chelsea states she is worried for Chloe.

Nick & Sharon drop off Noah, Paul & Christina drop off Kyle, Jack & Phyllis drop off Summer, and Michael Lauren drop off Fen at the dorms at GCU. Kyle & Fen become roommates; while Summer & Noah do. During first week Summer joins a sorority, Kyle & Fen join a fraternity, and Noah becomes the Resident Advisor at the Freshman Dorms.
