JT wants Natalie to have a real wedding so they plan it. Victoria finds out Tyler Jackson was the photographer that discovered her. Victoria brings him back to town to break up Natalie and JT.
Tyler reveals to Lily that his relationship with Natalie was short-lived because he was transphobic. Tyler recreates his and Natalie's most romantic date. JT tells Tyler to back off, Tyler tells JT that his marriage to Natalie is based on lies as he gives JT a folder. Flashback to Jack giving Victoria the non-disclosure and prenup signed by JT and Natalie. JT tells Tyler they love each other now but Tyler tells JT that he and Natalie will always love each other. Natalie tells Lily after Natalie came out to him he was embarrassed to be seen with her in public; Natalie confronted Tyler, and they broke up.
Tyler shows up Natalie's wedding and begs her to leave with him. She tells Tyler she loves JT; security drags Tyler out. JT and Natalie marry with Malcolm walking her down the aisle.
After their wedding ceremony out on the church steps, JT gets shot and dies in Natalie’s arms. Paul arrests Tyler.
Tyrone Jackson, Tyler’s father and Sarge’s estranged brother, walks into the GCPD representing his son as Hilary shows up with her news crew.
Genoa City mourns JT’s death. Colleen, Brittany Hodges, Mac, and Natalie bond; JTs parents Anita show up and hug Natalie. Victoria apologizes to Natalie admitting she brought Tyler back; Natalie slaps Victoria. Later she apologizes to Victoria stating she is just grieving. Luca offers his condolences to Natalie.
Tyler goes to trial for JT’s murder with Christine stating he hired a hitman. Before Christine can identify the hitman his body is found shot to death. Natalie asks Victor for his help. Victor finds out Adam hired the hitman to kill JT and frame Victoria. Victor tells him he won’t go to the authorities if Adam agrees to sell The Newman Group and work for Newman Enterprises. Adam at first refuses, but when Victor produces a fake confession from Adam’s hitman who seemed like a crazy fan obsessed with Natalie, Adam agrees. Victor forbids him from getting near Natalie. Victor “leaks” the suicide note from the hitman, and Christine must throw out the case against Tyler. Dru meets Tyrone at Tyler’s release party.
