When JT and Natalie come home JT punches Scott in Crimson Lights. Lauren wants to press charges but Scott says no. Lauren confronts JT who tells Lauren her son isn't the nice guy she thinks he is before leaving. She confronts Scott who admits he hid his anger being raised away from Lauren from her and met Natalie during his angrier years. He tells her how much she loved him and how he treated her like garbage. He also tells her that he put hands on Natalie out if anger. Lauren slaps him stating he should never and he agrees. Lauren goes to Natalie and apologizes for Scott's behavior. Natalie assumes he told Lauren her secret and thanks Lauren for being supportive of her coming out as transgender. Lauren masks her shock, but asks Natalie to be spokesmodel for Fenmores. She agrees and will come by her office later. Hilary overhears and tells Jack she must reveal this on GC Buzz. Jack tells her outing someone is never a good look, but if the story comes out then Hilary could scoop an interview after. Jack brings the story to Hilary, who is shocked. Word gets out and the town is in an uproar over JT and Natalie’s wedding. Victoria wants to fire Natalie for lying but Victor reveals she's his goddaughter. JT tells Natalie he truly does love her and will stay with her no matter what. Billy thinks Victoria should support Natalie; Victoria confides in Billy that she feels threatened by Natalie’s relationship with Victor. Victoria confronts Victor who assures her she’s his first born and that he’ll always love her. Victoria talks to Nick and Nikki as well. Nikki talks to Natalie telling her to get along with Vicky and Nick. Natalie visits both Nick and Victoria separately; Nick and Natalie become friends, while Natalie and Victoria end up in a heated argument that gets physical.
Brad Eliot comes back to town for John and Dina’s funerals. John appoints him Chairman of the Board at Jabot in his will and names Jack as CEO, Ashley as President, and Billy as VP. John gives Jill $50 million and tells her to enjoy retirement. Brad proposes to Jill asking her to travel the world. She and Brad marry deciding to pop back in Genoa City from time-to-time. Valeria catches the bouquet at Jill’s wedding. At the reception Brooks and Nina meet for the first time, Traci and Scott meet and chat, and Cane goes to Adam for his help with the text message; Nina sees the boy and recognizes the background as an orphanage Rose DeVille owned.
Cassie comes out as gay to Nick and Sharon; Sharon wonders if she has a gene in her to make her kids gay. Nick and Sharon go to Natalie who takes them a PFLAG meeting. Paul and Christine are there as well. They start a PFLAG group in Genoa City to much resistance in the town. Gloria and Snapper join; Gloria tries taking over the reins from Sharon as the two begin butting heads. Olivia and Malcolm sit in on a meeting with Natalie.
Nikki and Victor talk; Nikki forgives Victor. Casey and Matt talk; Matt asks Casey for a divorce. Adam quits the station and opens up The Newman Group, a hedge fund. He plans on becoming bigger than Newman Enterprises and putting them out of business. Victor confronts Adam telling him he will lose in a business fight with him; Adam tells Victor he has his DNA and business mind. Adam secretly also becomes obsessed with Natalie.
Summer discovers she’s pregnant and tells Fen; he discusses abortion with her and Esther at the clinic. Kyle and Noah go to Disney Gay Days together.
