Michael is Nick’s lawyer against Christine.
Christine brings up Nick’s animosity towards Frank over his relationship with Sharon and Cassie, his affair with Phyllis, and his contention with Victor. Michael has Sharon testify she and Nick went through a rough patch, but she stands by that he didn’t kill Frank; Christine cross examines Sharon having her admit she was mad at Nick for his affair with Phyllis and had feelings for Frank.
Michael redirects that Sharon found out Frank lied about his parents being alive and kicked him out. Michael has Phyllis admit her and Nick became friends after their affair which was a one-time affair nothing more; Christine cross examines Phyllis and gets her to admit she is late and possibly pregnant with Nick’s child as she was with him the exact moments Frank was killed; Jack leaves the courtroom.
Michael then questions Victor on his relationship with Nick and admits they were not on the greatest terms; Christine cross examines Victor and inadvertently has his security cameras show Frank called the police prior to Nick coming to the car and killed himself with a silencer when Nick showed up.
The case against Nick is dropped. Nick thanks Sharon for standing by him; he also thanks Victor for having the tapes ready. Christine seethes.
